British Columbia employers are reminded that the general minimum
wage in British Columbia increased on September 15, 2016 to $10.85
per hour, up from $10.45 per hour. The liquor server minimum wage
also increased to $9.60 per hour. Employers are reminded to update
their employment contracts and practices to ensure they reflect the
new minimum wage.
