On February 2, Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA)
President Maia Bent spoke at the Standing Committee on Finance and
Economic Affairs, Pre-Budget Hearings at the Ontario Legislative
Assembly. OTLA continues to advocate fairness and justice for
injured accident victims who must endure intrusive "insurer
examinations." OTLA also highlighted the need for greater
transparency and accountability with respect to financial data in
the auto insurance sector.
