Last week, amendments to the Toronto Stock Exchange Company Manual came into force which provide non-corporate issuers with guidance with respect to original listing requirements and changes in capital structure.  Non-corporate issuers, which include "Closed-end Funds", "Exchange Traded Products" and "Structured Products", will now have the benefit of a new Part XI – Requirements Applicable to Non-Corporate Issuers when dealing with the TSX.  Though not identical, the amendments are largely similar to a proposal published for comment in January 2015.

We will be publishing a post providing further details on this development in the coming weeks.  For further information, please see the Ontario Securities Commission's Notice of Approval and our January 2015 post on the proposed amendments.
