Using images of impoverished children to solicit funds is
seen by some as a brilliant way to raise awareness and generate
donations, while others view it as subliminally targeting the
heartstrings of donors who are not receiving the complete story.
But does it matter? If money is given and helps a child in need,
has any harm been done?
