October 4-5, 2012, marks the 14th annual Banff
Venture Forum (BVF), a two-day event held at the Fairmont Banff
Springs hotel in Banff, Alberta. BVF is Canada's premier
company financing event and brings together technology companies
from across North America to provide insight into key industry
issues, as well as networking and learning opportunities for
emerging technology companies. The annual forum also features a
number of panels and presentations from world-class professionals
in both the hi-tech and investment communities.
Since its inception in 1999, BVF has experienced significant
growth, hosting more than 40 venture capital firms, 46 presenting
companies and over 350 delegates in 2011. As the landscape of
emerging technologies continues to evolve, BVF provides high growth
technology companies with a much-needed and accessible venue for
idea sharing, networking, investment opportunities and more. PwC is
pleased to serve as the BVF title sponsor for the fourth
consecutive year, supporting North America's up-and-coming
technology organizations at every stage of their journey. Among the
host of talented and experienced individuals and organizations
taking part at this year's forum, BVF and PwC are proud to
welcome Eric Jackson, Forbes Tech Evangelist and founder of
Ironfire Capital LLC—a technology-focused investment
