As
we discussed in a post earlier this year, IIROC recently
announced the approval and implementation of core elements of
its Client Relationship Model project. However, in light of
challenges being encountered by dealers in meeting the September
26, 2012 implementation date, IIROC has announced that that the
implementation of the account suitability assessment requirements
will be extended to March 26, 2013. For more information, see IIROC Notice #12-0225.
