Such enforcement has to precede the drawdown of the loan in 90 percent of all cases.
Development of Italy’s southern regions has always been a key element of the Italian economic policy, and state aid acts as the main tool of this policy. Under the scrutiny of the European Commission, state aid has avoided becoming mere financial dumping but, instead, has emerged as a rather powerful incentive to increase competitiveness.
