The Brazilian Central Bank ("BCB") issued, on August
29, 2017, Ordinance #4,595/2017 ("Ordinance") that
regulates compliance policies applicable to financial institutions
and other entities authorized to operate by the BCB. In this
Ordinance, BCB compiled what it considers as being essential to the
contents of such policies. Financial institutions and other
regulated entities have until December 31, 2017 to adhere to the
new rules.
