$4.55 million to help build multicultural
Community organisations across Australia are being encouraged to
apply for grants under the Gillard Government's $4.55 million
Building Multicultural Communities Program. Applications for the

Illegal farm workers found in Albury
Five suspected illegal immigrant farm workers have been found in
the Albury area. The Department of Immigration today confirmed the
five men will be interviewed before being removed from Australia
(30 May 2013).

Arrangements are being made for the return of six Malaysian
illegal workers who were located in an immigration compliance
operation at a house in Australind, 160km south of Perth. The
officers were acting on information provided to the department
through their community reporting line and local police
