SEC Chief of Staff Lucas Moskowitz will leave the agency in August 2019. The SEC named Sean Memon as the new Chief of Staff and Bryan Wood as Deputy Chief of Staff.

Mr. Moskowitz has served as Chief of Staff since 2017, acting as lead advisor to Chair Jay Clayton. Prior to joining the SEC in 2010, Mr. Moskowitz served as Chief Investigative Counsel of the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs.

Mr. Memon has served as Deputy Chief of Staff since 2017, acting as senior advisor to Chair Clayton. Before joining the SEC, Mr. Memon practiced regulatory and transactional law at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.

Mr. Wood has served as Director of the Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs since 2017, acting as the congressional liaison and advisor to the Chair, Commissioners and SEC staff regarding a wide range of legislative and policy matters. Mr. Wood previously spent 10 years as a Senior Advisor and Counsel to the House Financial Services Committee.
