FSIS Proposes Allowing Poland To Export Poultry Products To The United States

In the April 20, 2016, Federal Register, USDA's
Food Safety and Inspection Service ("FSIS") proposed to
add Poland to the list of countries eligible to export poultry
products to the U.S. After reviewing Poland's poultry laws,
regulations, and inspection system as implemented, FSIS tentatively
determined that they are equivalent to the Poultry Products
Inspection Act ("PPIA"), the regulations implementing
this statute, and the U.S. food safety system for poultry.
