In the November 19, 2014, Federal Register, FDA announced the availability of a guidance for industry titled Questions and Answers Regarding Food Facility Registration (Sixth Edition). To reflect ongoing rulemakings under the FSMA, the guidance includes a new section on FDA's policy regarding food facility registration for farms that also pack or hold raw agricultural commodities grown on a farm under different ownership.
