Following a string of high-profile data breaches at big name companies, data breach services have been in high demand, and privacy attorneys are expanding their services to include everything from apps to 24-hour hotlines to accommodate the increased demand.

Fox Rothschild recently released Data Breach 411, an app designed to guide companies through the various state laws regarding actions and notification following a data breach.

"Law firms can come up with hotlines and guides and apps to help clients respond to data breaches, but in the end, those measures just supplement good lawyering by taking some stress out of the process," said Scott L. Vernick, a noted authority on privacy and Fox partner who was instrumental in the development of the app.
