Alison Choy Flannigan

Alison has over 19 years experience in acting for health and life sciences clients. She advises in many areas of corporate and commercial law with clients across a range of areas including public and private hospitals and health care providers, private health insurers, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and aged care/retirement living.

In 2008, 2009 and 2010, she was nominated by her peers in Best Lawyers International: Australia as one of Australia's 'best lawyers' in the area of health care and has previously been named in Legal Profiles as a rising star in health law.

Alison specialises in corporate and commercial; regulatory and health law. Alison is also Company Secretary of Research Australia Limited and is a member of various hospital committees.

Andrew Forbes

Andrew practises in litigation and administrative law with a particular focus on health. He is recognised for his expertise in health regulation.

Within his area of speciality, Andrew acts for: government and administrative bodies including the health practitioner registration boards advising on their regulatory responsibilities and acting in applications for judicial review, administrative appeals and disciplinary proceedings; insurers of health professionals, hospitals and manufacturers of medical devices in medical negligence claims, coronial inquests and has advised on treatment policies.

Andrew has acted in Commissions of Inquiry and led investigations into health related incidents, such as the Hendra virus outbreak. He has acted as 'counsel assisting' in internal disciplinary hearings and inquiries.
